We’re turning his dream into a reality.

Next week, he will see his name in print for the first time in a professionally printed collection of short stories. So will sixty other students from the Charleston County School District.

Art inspires life. And in some of the poorest communities of Charleston, the lack of life is overwhelming. When students write a story, paint a picture, or create a sculpture, we’re helping them learn more than sentence structure and color scheme. We’re helping them learn that life can be whatever they want to make it.
